Irwin, gicreative, macro, nikon D90, orange, philadelphia, photography, project 365, whiteoutWell, another month is in the books for Project 365. It’s starting to get a little easier to keep up with this and this month I tried out a few weekly themes, and that definatley helps. They included, Orange week, All things Macro, Whiteout and Lomo Fisheye. My favorite February image is hands down, 49/365, Infected. Have a favorite image, theme suggestion, constructive criticism, pointers? Let me know…Feedback is always welcome.

They ask you to take a photo a day for a year, so in an effort to flex my creative muscles, I decided to give it a whirl. Below are January’s photos, and I’m happy to say that so far, I haven’t missed a day. Only 11 more months to go.
What’s your favorite image from January? Leave your thoughts in the comment field below. (FYI – My personal favorite is 14/365, Paper Sisters.)

Poster Showcase

Irwin, gi creative, inspiration, motion poster, poster design, Saw IVFirst off, I have to lead in by saying I can’t believe they’re making another Saw movie. Now that that’s out of the way, check out the new Saw VI motion poster. I guess these motion posters are becoming the new cool thing. Personally, I’ll take a traditional well-designed poster any day, but that’s just me.
Back in the Saddle

Irwin, Gato inc, Get-Kinetic, gi creative, Kevin Hackenberg, Motion Control, Paul Irwin, Red One, UGC, Wish List, Your Amazon Ad ContestFor the first time in a while I found myself back in director’s chair yesterday and it felt great. (I posted a few snapshots I took up on Flickr) I got wind of a contest that Amazon was having about a week and half ago and thought it would be a great opportunity to shoot another spec for my director’s reel. Last Monday I came up w/ a slick concept and pitched it to the gang over at Get-Kinetic, who I’d been in talks with about collaborating on another spec idea. They loved the concept and off we went.
